Sophie Abrams

Sophie Abrams was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. She began gymnastics and tennis at the age of 4, laying the groundwork for her impressive athletic journey. Sophie started her collegiate career at the University of Memphis before transferring to North Carolina State University after her freshman year.

At NC State, she played a crucial role in the team’s success, helping them achieve a #2 national ranking during her sophomore year, secure the program’s first Atlantic Coast Conference Championship, and advance to the NCAA finals in her junior year. Individually, Sophie reached #19 in the singles rankings and #6 in doubles.

Since graduating in May, she has discovered a passion for pickleball with the encouragement of her family, finding the transition to the sport both exciting and challenging.
