Our New Director of Pickleball

We are so excited to announce we have a new Director of Pickleball, Madison Murgatroyd! She will be responsible for all events and activities that make Pickleball 901 the best place to play pickleball.

A little bit about her: Madison discovered pickleball in August 2023, and it quickly turned from a fun hobby into a full-blown passion. What started as a casual game became part of her daily routine, and just a few months later, she was diving headfirst into competitive play. Since then, she’s been traveling and competing across the Midsouth—loving every match, every moment, and every opportunity to grow in the sport.

As her love for pickleball deepened, Madison realized she wanted to be more than just a player—she wanted to help shape the game’s future. She took on the role of Program Coordinator at Bluff City Pickleball, where she brought energy and creativity to leagues, events, and tournaments. Now, she’s proud to continue that mission with Pickleball 901.

Madison is a certified instructor with a true talent for building community through the sport. She’s passionate about making sure everyone—regardless of age or skill level—feels welcome and excited to play. Whether she's organizing a tournament, leading a clinic, or competing on the court, Madison brings enthusiasm and heart to everything she does.

And the excitement doesn’t stop there—this August, she’s starting law school! With big goals both in and out of pickleball, Madison is ready to keep growing, keep leading, and keep making a difference on and off the court.
