We will be hosting our 2nd MLP Tournament on Saturday, December 21st! The sponsor, Michael Wiseman, with Michael Wiseman - State Farm, will be helping with the prize pool for our great players! We are very thankful we had so many good players come to our last one and want to make sure this one is even better!

The action starts at 11am and lasts until 7pm. Spectators are welcome for $10 each while the tournament is going on (Unlimited Open Play guests get in free), which also allows you to participate in Open Play on the other available courts if you’d like.

Prize Pool

1st place: $1320 ($330 each person)

2nd place: $960 ($240 each person)

3rd place: $600 ($150 each person)

Format

We will be separating the 8 teams into two pools of four teams. (Ranked by DUPR, see picture below for seeding/schedule)

Each team will play each team in their respective pools, so three teams / games total.

Against each team, your team will play four games to 25, and each player on the team has to play at least two games.

We are playing playoff matchups to 21 in so that we can get done by 7 PM.

Team ranked 1,3,5,7 will play in pool 1.

Teams ranked 2,4,6,8 will play in pool 2.

The captains will pick who plays each game, respectively. How this works: a player will put up a one or a two behind the paddle/their back, the other team will guess the number, and whoever guesses correct will have the decision of either choosing 1. their first and third matchup or 2. the second matchup and gets to choose singles tiebreaker matchup if necessary.

After pool play, we will be accepting the top two in each pool to go to the playoffs. Look at the picture below to see how that will break down.
